Clearly Clean Window Washing

Terms and Conditions

These terms explain the general policies that apply to Clearly Clean services unless a written estimate, proposal or other agreement says otherwise.

Please review before service. Project-specific estimates may include additional scope, exclusions, access requirements or pricing terms. If there is a conflict, the written project-specific agreement controls for that job.

Safety Policy

Safety comes first. Window cleaning and exterior-cleaning work can involve ladders, roofs, lifts, traffic, weather and other hazards. Clearly Clean may stop, postpone or refuse work when conditions create an unreasonable safety risk.

Minors at the Property

If a minor is home during the appointment, an adult must also be present. If we arrive and a minor is home alone, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and applicable cancellation or rescheduling charges may apply. A home may be vacant if access instructions are arranged in advance.

Service Refusal

Clearly Clean may decline work that is outside our normal scope, presents unusual liability or safety concerns, or cannot reasonably be completed with the access and conditions available.

Pets

Please secure pets in a safe area before and during service. Our work can require opening windows, doors, gates and moving through different areas of the property. Customers are responsible for arranging safe access while keeping pets secure.

Satisfaction

We want customers to be happy with the finished service. If something is not right, please contact us promptly so we can review the concern and work toward an appropriate resolution, including correcting qualifying workmanship issues.

Payment Terms

Payment is generally due when the service is completed or when the invoice is received, unless written invoice terms state otherwise. Clearly Clean primarily accepts card payment. Approved commercial accounts may have different written invoice terms.

Price Match

When applicable, we may match a written competitor estimate when the competing company has comparable credentials and the quoted scope is materially the same. The services, quantities, access and included work must be comparable.

Price Changes

Service prices may change as labor, equipment, insurance, materials and other business costs change. Any price change that affects an upcoming service will be communicated before the work begins. Active service-plan price-lock benefits remain subject to the terms of the applicable plan.

Estimates, Scope and Exclusions

Estimates are based on the information provided about the property, quantities, access, condition and requested services. If the actual job differs from the information used to prepare the estimate, Clearly Clean may revise the price or decline the work before proceeding.

Unless a written estimate says otherwise, work that is not specifically listed is not included. This can include permits, bonds, special insurance requirements, traffic control, hauling, drilling or fastening, third-party contractor standby, overtime or night work, specialty facilities, or other project-specific requirements.

Standard estimates are generally valid for 30 days. Scheduling is subject to mutually agreeable availability.

Property Access

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the areas included in the service, including gates, doors, access codes and other required entry instructions. When needed for the approved work, access to an appropriate water source must also be available. Delays or inability to access the work area may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

Special Equipment

If a project requires rented specialty equipment that was not included in the original scope, the customer will be notified before the additional cost is added. Current policy allows rental cost and related expenses to be billed with an additional 15% equipment-handling markup.

Special Project Expenses

Project-specific requirements such as bonds, waivers of subrogation, special insurance limits or other requirements beyond Clearly Clean's normal coverage may be billed to the customer when they are required for that project and approved as part of the scope.

Accidental Damage

Please move fragile or valuable items before service. Clearly Clean is responsible for damage directly caused by our accidental actions while performing the agreed work. We are not responsible for failure of an item that breaks while being used normally because of an existing defect, age, deterioration or other condition outside our control.

Common Pre-Existing or Revealed Conditions

Scratches and Glass Blemishes

Cleaning can reveal scratches, manufacturing marks and other imperfections that were difficult to see while the glass was dirty. Clearly Clean is not responsible for pre-existing scratches or blemishes that become visible after cleaning.

Bent or Deteriorated Screens

Screen frames and mesh can weaken or distort with age, sun exposure and prior handling. We are responsible for damage we directly cause, but not for pre-existing bends, tears, brittleness or deterioration.

Failed Window Seals

Moisture or fogging between panes usually indicates a failed insulated-glass seal. Window cleaning does not repair failed seals, and Clearly Clean is not responsible for seal failure or moisture already trapped between panes.

Hard Water and Mineral Staining

Mineral deposits can permanently etch or stain glass depending on severity, exposure and how long the deposits have been present. Specialty treatment may improve the appearance, but complete removal cannot always be guaranteed. Clearly Clean is not responsible for pre-existing mineral damage to the glass.

Seven-Day Rain Protection

Seven-Day Rain Protection is available only to customers enrolled in an eligible residential window-cleaning service plan.

  • If qualifying rain within seven days of the completed service causes visible spots or streaks on cleaned exterior windows, contact Clearly Clean during that seven-day period.
  • One complimentary touch-up may be provided for the affected exterior windows from that service visit.
  • The touch-up must be requested and scheduled within the applicable seven-day protection period.
  • The protection applies to rain-related spotting on affected exterior windows, not unrelated dirt, sprinkler deposits, construction debris or other causes.
  • Only one qualifying rain touch-up is available per service visit.
